Coding by the pool
Just a quick post as I have only 15 minutes of free hotel internet. I am in Rotorua in the North Island of New Zealand playing in the Oceania Zonal. I am doing okay with 3 out of 6, with 3 rounds to go. In fact now even a worst case scenario would see me exceeding the 30% score I think of as a kind of “embarrassment avoidance” threshold. The fact that I think about such things (a lot) probably says a lot about my chess.
Anyway, for the second time in the tournament I have been coding on my laptop by the hotel pool this morning (some days have morning games, some don’t). Successfully “freshened up” the main status display for Tarrasch, so one item checked off anyway.
